No, Branco is designed to ask open questions that focus on what the user observed, no judgment. The behaviour is then compared impartially to the expectations set for the employee role and level.

Question 12

Are performance assessments fair with Branco?

Accepted Answer

Branco uses automated 360 continuous feedback. Each employee receives weekly feedback data points from people they work with day-in and day-out: this makes it timely and specific. In addition, when we have 100s data points, it is also very fair as the distribution evens out eventual outliers. From Gallup research: for reviews to feel unbiased, 78% of employees want more than one source of feedback on their work, 69% feels the number of reviewers should be between 2 and 5.

Question 13

Why would my team love Branco?

Accepted Answer

Simple: Growth, transparency and clarity. Branco shows employees exactly what's expected at their current and future level, collects feedback from multiple sources and highlights trends over time. The continuous work of our plan generator agent tops it up, by providing the right path forward at the right time.

Question 14

How does the personal action plan agent work?

Accepted Answer

The personal action plan agent is aware of all the historical feedback, the current workload, the current action plan (if present) and skills and competencies expectations. It takes all of this in, and constantly re-evaluates your plan and suggests specific action items for your improvement based on your strengths. Imagine when your plan doesn't say 'work on communication', but instead says 'since you need to work on communication and since you're the technical lead on leading project X, prepare a presentation for next week's team demo explaining your thought process on the key technical decisions in this project X sprint'. Actionable, timely, and targeted to results: project X will improve, you will improve.
